Reservations and payment
- Reservations of a camping ground or accommodation is done with the reservation form on this website.
- Within two weeks after the reservation, you will receive a booking confirmation.
- Within 21 days after receipts of the booking confirmation a downpayment has to be made, which consists out of the security deposit and at least 25% of the booking fee. If this downpayment is not done, the reservation will be cancelled. The remainder of the booking confirmation needs to be paid 28 days before start of the renting period at the latest.
- When you make a reservation in a period within 28 days of start or your stay, then the booking confirmation needs to be paid in full at once after receipt of the invoice.
- When the payments are not made on time, we have the right to cancel you reservation. The cancelation conditions mentioned in this terms are than applicable.
- The group accommodation needs to be booked for at least 20 persons per night.
Change of you reservation
- Deviations of the number of persons that actual stayed with respect to the number that you booked, will be settled with the final invoice after your stay.
Security deposit
For the use of Scoutcentrum Harderhaven, the following security deposits will be charged before the start of your stay:
- Staying at the group accommodation € 150,00
- Staying at a camping ground € 50,00
- When renting a sailing boat € 25,00
This deposit will be returned after your stay via your bank account, with the deduction of additional cost when applicable like: leaving later than agreed, untidy and dirty group accommodation and/or camping ground after you have left, vandalism and broken or defect items.
Cancelation
If circumstances forces you to cancel your reservation, than the following cancelation conditions apply:
- Cancelations must always be done in writing (email).
- When cancelled the following costs are charged:
1. up to 3 months: 25% of the booking price
2. up to 2 months: 50% of the booking price
3. up to 1 month: 75% of the booking price
4. within 1 month: 90% of the booking price
5. at the start of the renting period: 100% of the booking price
