Here are some tips to take into consideration, when you come and stay with us:
Group Accommodation
Beds
The beds in the building are equiped with a matress and a pillow. You must arrange your own matress cover, pillowcase and a blanket/sleeping bag/duvet
Cleaning
After your stay you must deliver the building broom clean. For all group accommodation renters, it is mandatory to have a final cleaning done by our cleaning partner.
Consumed goods
Please keep in mind that you have to arrange yourself for the following articles (among others):
- cleaning fluids (hand soap, dish washing liquid, all-purpose cleaner, bleach, etc.)
- bin bags
- hand and tea towels
- cleaning cloths
- toilet paper
Kitchen equipment
The kitchen is fully equiped with the following items among others:
- 6 burner gas cooker with gas oven
- 1 large gas burner
- 2 sinks
- microwave
- electric kettle
- Bravilor coffee machine (coffee filters are provided for)
- large refrigerator
- large freezer
- various pots and panns
- cuttlery and dishes for a group of 50 persons
Miscellaneous
The building has a small midi set, a bar refrigerator and a covered patio. There is also a fire place, but that cannot be used (chimney is blocked).
Camping
Cleaning
After your stay, you have to deliver the camp site fully cleaned. That means that all bits of paper and rubbish are removed from the grass. Also the sanitary spaces and washbasins need to be fully cleaned, including swiping and mopping the floors. For cleaning purposes, buckets, scrubbing brushes and squeegees are provided for. You must bring your own cleaning fluids and cleaning cloths. Also the campfire place needes to be cleaned.
Final cleaning of a campsite cannot be outsourced.

Garbage
Guests on our camp sites receive per group a blue mini rubbish skip with a bin bag. This can be used as a garbage bin during your stay. If the bin bag is full, a new one can be asked from the camp staff or caretaker.
Showers
The showers at the camp sites are coin operated and work on 0.50 euro pieces. For 0.50 euro you can shower approximately 5 minutes with warm water. Money can always be changed at the camp staff or caretaker.
Electricity
Power outlets are located on the edges of the camp sites. To get the power to your tents, you have to arrange your own extension cords, with sufficient length. Large consumers like electric frying pans are not allowed. Also music installations are not allowed.
General
Garbage
At the scoutcentre the garbage is sorted. There is a container for glass, a container for paper and cardboard (keep in mind to flatten out boxes) and a general waste container. Large pieces of garbage, like broken tents, furniture pieces, etc, are not allowed in the container. You have to take these back home with you.
Pioneering
The amount of pioneering poles present is limited. These cannot be reserved.
Campfire
Each camp site has a campfire place with a fire pit. This can be used as long as the fire remains in the pit. When the wind is in the direction of our neighbours, it is not allowed to make a campfire. Consult always with the camp staff or caretaker, before you start a fire. The group accommodation does not have have campfire place. Consult with the camp staff or caretaker if you want to make a fire. If available use can be made of one of the campfire places of the camp sites, else a fire basket can be arrange for you. There is no firewood available and wood gathering options in the area are limited. The best is to bring your own firewood.
Parking
There is ample parking space outside the scoutcentre. Cars are not allowed on the site. Trailers can be pushed on the site by hand.
Bicycles are parked in the bicycle stands at the entrance of the scoutcentre.
There are luggage trolleys present to transport goods from your car to the location where you are staying.
